When life gets rough, many people want to give up the fight. They have already been through the battle of betrayal and their integrity has been tested greatly, and they wonder if it's ever going to be over.

Many try to rush the trials by delivering themselves with focused intentions, healing their inner children and clearing out emotional issues. This of course, is part of the healing, but the process can't be sped up.

We have to keep moving, even when there is no destination in sight. When we persevere under great trial, this is when we can expect a reward.

The race isn't won by the fastest — it's won by the one who doesn't give up. We persevere to build character. The path ahead of you is strewn with obstacles: financial setbacks, heartbreak, illness, pain, but there is also peace, love and success. When we persevere through suffering, we win the approval of the universe.

There is time for you to open the door, but there is also a time for you to wait until it opens for you. Keep on believing that life is going to get better while enduring your trials, but it's not just about believing. We have to live out these beliefs with obedience. We go through these battles to receive our true gifts, and the rewards are different for all of us.
